As a long-time supporter of the CFJ/CFA Flooring Apprentice of the Year competition, Bostik was proud to attend this year’s prize giving presentation at the FITA Training Centre in Loughborough.
Now in its sixth year, the competition is well established within the flooring industry and highlights the hard work and achievements of flooring apprentices across the UK.
This year’s winner was Jordan Gayle of A.G. Flooring Limited, whose prize package included a specialist flooring tool kit and clothing worth over £3000 and £1000 in cash. As a sponsor of the award, Bostik also presented Jordan with a range of damp proof membranes, primers, smoothing compounds and adhesives, as well as a £350 Love2shop voucher.
Jordan’s father, his work mentor and college tutor were all on hand to see him receive his prizes in front of flooring industry representatives and sponsors of the award. The photographs taken on the day can be viewed here.
The Flooring Apprentice of the Year is made possible through the generosity of the sponsors such as Bostik and a range of others, who are able to show that they value apprenticeships and believe in the importance of training within the flooring industry.
Huge congratulations go to Jordan, from all of us at Bostik.
