Now in its eighth year, Bostik is proud to continue to sponsor the CFA/CFJ Flooring Apprentice of the Year competition, deservedly won this year by David McGrath from MacGregor Flooring Company.
The well-established competition demonstrates the importance the flooring industry places on training and ensuring that fitters, regardless of their age, are competent and skilled. Bostik is proud to put its name to a competition that highlights the hard work and achievements of flooring apprentices across the UK.
This year’s winner impressed the judges with excellent recommendations from his employer and tutor and will be presented with his prizes later in the year, when it is safe to do so in line with the latest Government advice. David will be receiving over £4,000 worth of prizes, plus 2 additional training courses to help further his knowledge and skills.
Congratulations, David!
The Flooring Apprentice of the Year is made possible through the generosity of the sponsors such as Bostik and a range of others, who are able to show that they value apprenticeships and believe in the importance of training within the flooring industry. If you are an employer with a flooring apprentice who deserves recognition for his/her efforts, entries for next year’s award can be made on the CFA website.
