Supporting flooring’s future

Supporting flooring’s future

Bostik has once again proudly supported the CFJ/CFA Flooring Apprentice of the Year Award.

Now in its fifth year, the award provides a unique opportunity for all flooring apprentices to prove how talented they are, with a chance to win the first prize of tools and materials worth over £3000 plus £500 in cash, along with a FITA training course of their choice.

This year’s winner was Alistair Craig of Lynas Carpets, whose prize package included a range of damp proof membranes, primers, smoothing compounds and adhesives from Bostik.

The prize giving took place on 3rd May at the FITA Training Centre in Loughborough. Pictured is Grant Bostock, communications manager at Bostik, presenting the prize to Alistair.

The Flooring Apprentice of the Year is made possible through the generosity of the sponsors such as Bostik and a range of others, who are able to show that they value apprenticeships and believe in the importance of training within the flooring industry. If you are an employer with a flooring apprentice who deserves recognition for his/her efforts, or alternatively, if you are a talented apprentice, entries for next year’s award can be made on the CFA website.

Congratulations Alistair, from all of us at Bostik.
