Bostik is proud to have sponsored the 2022 CFA/CFJ Flooring Apprentice of the Year competition, which this year has been won by George Carter of Rudge Brothers & James Ltd in Bristol.
Celebrating its 10th year, the prestigious competition acts as a showcase for the high standards that apprentices are held to as well as an opportunity for the apprentices to demonstrate their hard work and prior achievements.
The competition also underlines how important training is to the flooring industry – and Bostik has been keen to support ongoing training for flooring installers through the Bostik Academy. Once again, Bostik is delighted to be associated with a competition that promotes the skills and achievements of the UK’s next generation of professional floorers.
In light of George’s win, Louise Vanham, Bostik’s Category Manager – Wall & Floor, presented him with a selection of Bostik products as well as a £250 Love2Shop voucher – part of a prize kit from all the sponsors worth more than £4,000. Bostik is proud to say Rudge Brothers & James Ltd are a Bostik client, so George is already familiar with the company’s range of professional flooring products.
